We offer a safe and supportive environment for you to feel comfortable talking openly about any difficulties, at a pace that feels comfortable to you. Before our session you may be asked to complete some questionnaires to help us both better understand how you are feeling and what you feel you need support with the most.
Therapy sessions typically last an hour, unless otherwise agreed. The length of therapy and frequency depends on what you want from therapy and this will be discussed at the first appointment.
During our first session we will aim to develop a joint understanding of the difficulties you have been experiencing, discuss your goals for therapy and consider together which therapeutic approaches will be best to meet your needs. The added benefit of therapy with a Clinical Psychologist over many other professionals is the training in multiple models of therapy and therefore the ability to integrate various therapeutic approaches to tailor your therapy to best meet your individual needs, goals and preferences.
We work with children, young people and adults of all ages who are experiencing a variety of psychological difficulties; whether that's individuals, families, couples or groups.
We also work with people with additional needs, such as those with learning difficulties or an intellectual disability and/or autism; this may also include diagnostic assessment of a learning disability or autism, where desired.
We have a number of options for therapy rooms across the Cheshire area, including Northwich and Warrington.
