Dr Beth Bell is a clinical psychologist with extensive experience working alongside people with learning disabilities, autistic people, and others with diverse neurodevelopmental profiles. Her practice is rooted in a deep commitment to compassionate, relational, and neuroaffirming approaches, and she is passionate about modelling the kind of care, curiosity, and humanity she hopes to see embedded across services.
She has a particular interest in trauma and attachment‑sensitive practice, especially within the context of Positive Behaviour Support. Beth’s work focuses on understanding behaviour through the lens of lived experience, relational safety, and unmet need; supporting individuals and teams to move away from compliance‑based models and towards approaches grounded in dignity, connection, and meaning.
Alongside this, Beth integrates narrative approaches and Compassion‑Focused Therapy into her clinical work, supporting people and teams to make sense of their stories, strengthen compassionate inner resources, and build environments where people can thrive. She also completes diagnostic assessments, bringing a thoughtful, contextualised, and person‑centred lens to understanding neurodevelopmental profiles.
